A brief summary of the character’s history, chronicling of major events that have molded the character’s life in a major way.
This history must include the way in which a character developed their skills and abilities as well as the acquirement of any items they possess, for explanatory reasons.
A character’s age and what has happened within their lifetime is to be considered when listing what the character is capable of towards their abilities and skills as well as when considering the character’s knowledge of the ‘Verse around them. If a player does not wish to post information to the general public, they can send this information to managers privately through pm or email.

Limits to character age will stand on the room concerning a handful of factors.
If your character is 16 or younger you will be required to have another character act as your character’s guardian. While you don’t need to start out with your character’s guardian and do not have to be related to the character in anyway, you still have to be somehow acquainted with them within the first two times you RP.
The setting is harsh and cruel from time to time upon characters, and despite how talented or intelligent a character may be they have to be a being capable of surviving in a respectable and realistic manner. If they are 10 years old and have an IQ of 220 there is still the certainty that they will not survive alone for long.
Consider the likelihood of a personal cargo plane hiring a 13 year old as their pilot or mechanic in the modern day, or a group of mercenaries hiring a 16 year old as their new top gun. There are on occasion extreme exceptions to a rule, but ability is to be taken into consideration with age and experience. Naturally character younger than 18 will be given less skill points and attribute points than adult characters.

Just as it is discouraged for typists actively pursuing characters with some sort of abnormal enhancement to their abilities, it is discouraged for typists to attempt to make a younger character. The setting itself is not kid friendly.
Most importantly is the consideration of the setting and its limitations. If you are familiar with Firefly/Serenity you will likely have a good idea of starting points for what is permissible and what is not. If you do not, a simple statement should suffice for an idea: it is a realistic, hard sci-fi setting.
